IS there gonna be an 09 Kawasaki z1000 in the us they dont seem to portrait the z1000 in their web sight for the us market at all does anyone know if it got discontinued?

No more Z1000′s in the US. The market for naked standards in the US sucks, especially for bikes that aren’t entry level. I’m pretty disappointed to see it go as I’ve always been a fan of the classic KZ1000 and the new Z1000s. Luckily, I’m pretty satisfied with my FZ6.
I have a bandit right now (600) and was wondering about trying to get a Z1000. I’ve been riding for a while just looking for a little get up and got. And please, no sport bike suggesting or harley testimonies.
Would just like some opinions from riders.

the new bandits are totally different to the old ones, son had old 600 bandit now has new 650 bandit the only thing the same is the name it goes ok & handles well does not seem as fussy as the 600

Maybe it’s different in different countries, but here in the US the Bandit has a 1250cc engine. It’s a great bike with plenty of power.

The Z1000 is the stuff that legends are made of. This bike make the world sit up and take notice. It is surely a worthy bike to experience as an extention to what you have already used.
